What is Threat Intelligence?

Evidence-based knowledge about threats used to inform security decisions.

Threat intel spans strategic (trends), operational (campaigns), and tactical (IOCs, TTPs) levels. It helps prioritize defenses, enrich alerts, and hunt proactively.

Frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK and feeds like CISA KEV are core inputs.
