GLOSSARY / Spyware
What is Spyware?
Malware that covertly gathers information about a user or organization.
Spyware monitors activity, harvests credentials, captures screenshots, and tracks browsing. Commercial “stalkerware” and nation-state tools like Pegasus are extreme examples.
It often arrives bundled with other software or via exploitation.
